Expectations play a huge role with something we are totally clueless about and want to know about it. When I applied for the course I thought it was going to be about internet radio.
In having my first day of class where I and my classmates would be filled in into what the course is about, I arrived late and ended up missing out on the introduction to the course the convener, Dinesh Balliah, made. A course outline and some of my classmates filled me in into what the course would be about, which I then found out that it is not what I expected from it.
However, what I have found out is that the course is about the online publishing environment. With that being something that I have been keen to learn about, even though I was not expecting myself to be learning about it now, this leaves me to be pleased that I am doing the course.
With what I have experienced in the first two days of the class I have discovered that there are a lot of challenges that are with the course. But as long as I am determined to succeed in it I believe that everything should be fine. On another note, it is only fair to admit that those challenges bring with them this adrenalin rush that makes you to keep on wanting for more. In these first two days I have panicked, I have stressed, I have calmed down, made discoveries and smiled. There is so much emotions that I have felt. Plus, considering that not too many courses can make you feel this way… It looks like ‘Radio Goes Online’ is about to bring one of the best experiences in my life ever! With that said, I have nothing more to say but to let ‘Headlines’ by Drake express my emotions/feels/thoughts.
