CALL FOR INPUT - CRIME AND COURT REPORTING WORKSHOPS IN SOUTH AFRICA
Calling all media practitioners in South Africa — in January and February 2024, the Wits Justice Project will host a series of free, in-person workshops around the country focusing on crime and court reporting. These workshops are aimed at new to mid-career journalists/reporters who would like to improve their skills in reporting on crime, policing, and the courts/justice system in the communities where they live and work. The training sessions will be free of charge.
We would like to invite interested media – newspapers, websites, radio and TV stations – to complete a short form (link below) to help us plan the training schedule, and also to assess levels of interest in different parts of the country.
Please note that this opportunity is only open to South African journalists at this stage. |
