We are a small media and publishing company looking to add to our roster of highly experienced business journalists who can contribute feature articles on a freelance basis.
Our publications are high-quality, thought-leadership titles and we would like to hear from you if you have a minimum of 10 years’ experience writing for the Financial Mail, Finweek, Business Day, Business Report or Entrepreneur. This is the minimum requirement and we are not looking for recent graduates, junior reporters, PR business writers, consumer affairs reporters, news journalists, ad copywriters etc. We are also not offering full-time positions.
The typical commission ranges between R3 000 and R5 400 per article and we need people who don’t rely on press releases and Internet research, but are willing to generate original and in-depth copy by speaking to key businesspeople and experts in SA and other parts of Africa. Knowledge of the marketing industry and related fields such as advertising, market research and PR would be a distinct advantage.
