Marketing and communications Management

Brand Management

Develop the brand plan to build the Organization brand through engaging with the Organization strategy and objectives, identifying opportunities to develop and strengthen the brand and implementing brand building interventions

Manage that the Organization brand integrity through managing the branding elements and their use by Organization employees and stakeholders

 

Marketing Management

Develop, implement and measure the success of a marketing  strategy

Ongoing research of market and industry trends and , stakeholder satisfaction surveys to ensure that the marketing plans alignment to industry needs and  strategy

Manage and improve lead generation campaigns and measure results.

 

Marketing and Communications Operations

Develop a range of marketing campaigns and materials aligned to the company strategy, including the annual report to society, annual publications, external newsletters and brochures, product launches and thought leadership events.

Participate in selecting, appointing and managing  communication and marketing service providers

Manage the company’s marketing and communications budget

Manage all marketing and communications materials.

Manage Organization’s various social media platforms, aligning updated content ensuring to the company’s strategy

Manage the development, distribution and archiving of Organization and industry-related press and media releases, recommending  and implementing action.

Develop and manage the implementation of a stakeholder engagement strategy with the media, business forums, government, civil society and clients.

Develop and manage the execution of a crisis[URL Disabled]  management strategy  to mitigate reputational risk to the company and its respective stakeholders.

Provide marketing and communication support to the CEO and executive committee members

 

Internal Communication

Develop  the  implementation of an  internal communications strategy

Manage that required internal communication is drafted, approved and distributed to standard and by deadline

Events are planned, coordinated and implemented

Templates, letterheads, presentation formats, visuals and any other internal communication formats are consistently designed, and that the company’s branding maintains its integrity and documentation is consistent and professional

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor or Master’s degree  in marketing, journalism, communication, business or related fields

8 years industry experience in advertising, marketing, public relations, communication or a combination of these fields

5 years management experience

Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with the media

Experience overseeing the design, production and distribution of print materials and publications
