Client in the FMCG Industry requires the services of an Internal Communication Specialist in Johannesburg as soon as possible. PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT POSITION FOR SIX (6) MONTHS ONLY.
KEY PURPOSE
To ensure effective internal communication across all levels within the organisation through the implementation of the communication framework; resulting in planned messages, delivered through appropriate channels and monitored continuously to guarantee effectiveness and relevance.
KEY OUTPUTS
Implement communication activities as outlined in the monthly, quarterly and annual internal communication framework and oversee the implementation of ongoing internal communications strategy:

- Internal publications
- company Intranet content to be kept relevant
- Communication Framework governance
- Entrench Corporate Identity guidelines through various internal applications
- Develop and manage the business communication’s calendar
- Ad hoc communication requirements
- Continuously identify gaps and wins with regards to effective messaging and employee engagement
- Provide communications support and guidance to the Regional Communications Specialists as well as Head Offices & Company Head of Departments
- Support Company employee communication requirements
- Manage relevant projects in support of the internal comms framework
- Be the comms subject matter expect for the business
- Support various employee engagement initiatives in the business
- Define feedback systems to measure internal communications effectiveness throughout the organization. Implement these systems for Company employees, while supporting the Regional teams to do the same in their respective regions
- Support critical Brand communication requests to our employees, such as Company financial results, Brand launch communication etc.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Tertiary qualification in Communications
- A qualification in Journalism would be an added advantage
- Experience in management and implementation of communication in FMCG industry
- Proven track record of managing written, verbal and electronic forms of communication
- Good understanding of Employee Engagement Concepts, especially frontline level employees
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in internal communications
Salary between R20 – R30 K per month depending on Skills and Experience
