Job Purpose

The copywriter will work alongside the Marketing Manager and Designers to conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns.

They will provide the verbal or written copy€™ for all digital and print campaigns. This includes creating written content for both online media and print materials. To create direct mail pieces, taglines, web page content, online ads, e-mails, blogs, social media and other online content, television or radio commercial scripts, press releases, billboards, brochures and other marketing communications.



Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Copywritting, Public Relations or literary/media studies.


Over 2 years’ experience in an online media environment.

Experience within an online gaming environment is an advantage.

Skills and Knowledge

Detail-oriented and organized with strong attention to follow-through.

Be highly creative and imaginative with the ability to produce innovative and original ideas, and curious about gaming products.

Have an interest in sports, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques.

Be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.

Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets.

Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.

Key Performance Areas:

Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns.

Write clear and persuasive copy for websites, brochures, ads, and other means of advertising.

Develop unique, new concepts and create and present storyboards of ideas.

Researching sports betting industry, competitors and the target audience.

Producing original, clear and credible ideas/messages/scripts, and presenting these.

Updating and amending campaigns according to feedback.

Determine what makes our products appealing to consumers.

Update digital media with timely content.

Create SEO content.

Oversee campaigns from production to completion.

Revise, edit, and proofread content.

Work within tight deadlines.

Monitor and change advertising campaigns to change effectiveness.

Check copy for spelling and grammar errors.

Research competitors and keep abreast of market trends.

Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in tandem with the marketing team.
