A MAN who allegedly featured in the e.tv news piece threatening violence at the World Cup is schizophrenic, the court heard, writes Solly Maphumulo in The Star.
Evans Mdebuka (Tsietsi Radebe) appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on a charge of intimidation.
State prosecutor Mienke Erasmus told the court that they had received evidence that Mdebuka is "schizophrenic" and was receiving treatment.
The case was postponed to Thursday because Mdebuka's lawyer was not available on Wednesday.
Mdebuka appeared on an e.tv news story cocking a gun.
