A Hong Kong newspaper editor was jailed for breaking a reporter's nose in a row about the editing of his stories, according to a report on news24.com.

Hong Kong Economic News editor Lim Siong-hoon, 52, punched Ho Hong-yu in the face on June 5 when the young reporter complained to him, the Hong Kong Standard reported.

At a hearing in Hong's Eastern Magistrates court, Lim was convicted of assault causing grievous bodily harm and jailed for three weeks.
