The path was cleared on Wednesday for the Mail & Guardian newspaper to publish a damning report about SABC legal services head Mafika Sihlali, reports Independent Online
The Pretoria High Court discharged an interim interdict granted to Sihlali, which prevented the paper from publishing his name or allegations made against him in an SABC internal audit report.
These included claims of financial irregularity, intimidation and violation of the Public Finance Management Act and SABC internal policy.
Since he was granted the interdict two weeks ago, several other publications have published his name and the information contained in the report.
