The Mail & Guardian team of Zukile Majova, Stephen Patrick “Sam” Sole, Nicholas Dawes and Stefaans Brummer shared second place in the 2006 Taco Kuiper Award with their series titled “A murder most foul”.

The Mail & Guardian investigation explored the
relationship between national police commissioner Jackie Selebi,
murdered businessman Brett Kebble and the man accused of his murder,
alleged crime boss Glenn Agglioti.
