Popular musician Lephatsoe Lebajoa has briefly appeared in the Maseru
Magistrate court for insulting communications Minister, Mothetjoa

He was granted bail of M500 (R500) and the case has been remanded to June 16.
The musician in the popular famo style is accused of contravening the Internal Security Act of 1984, by “using obscene or insulting words†in a public place. While calling into a phone-in-programme of MoAfrica FM where the minister was a guest, he is alleged to have told him ‘U se ka ntlela ka masepa, meaning do not talk shit and rubbish.
Lebajoa is a staunch supporter of the new party, the All Basotho Convention (ABC).
