Print Media SA is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs Ingrid Louw as the association’s new CEO, according to a news release.
Mrs Louw has extensive experience within the electronic media industry through the various roles she played at NGO’s such as Makana Media & Communications, National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) and the establishment of Kaya FM.ÂÂÂ
Louw said that “she was up for the challenges the association and print media industry faced and was eager to learn more about the printed mediaâ€ÂÂ.
“Ingrid brings on board a wealth of experience that will be critical in enabling Print Media SA to meet the expectations of a rapidly changing industry. Part of her brief is to build durable and mutually beneficial relations with all our stakeholders†says Trevor Ncube, President of the association.
Louw will be the second woman appointed to spearhead the association since it was formed in 1996 after the restructuring of the Newspaper Press Union. She commenced office on February 19, 2007.
