Oshiomhole demanded a thorough investigation into the immediate cause of the murder of the political reporter.
He said: "The police command should spare no effort to unravel the immediate cause of Ohu's death. The perpetrators of this heinous act should be fished out to serve as deterrent to others.
"This is unusual. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolence to both his family and the management of the Guardian newspapers. The loss of your son and staff was regrettable.
