LAW FOCUS – COMMISSIONS OF INQUIRY
The Constitution mandates the President as the head of the executive to appoint a commission of inquiry whenever it is in the public interest to do. The public has criticised the role of commissions and labelled them a political hotbed. Law Focus unpacks on the effectiveness of commissions of inquiry.
To speak about the political influence on commissions of inquiry activist criticising the Seriti Arms Procurement Commission, Mr. Terri Crawford-Browne joins us and shares his voice on the effectiveness of commissions.
This Commissions of Inquiry edition of Law Focus is produced by Khutso Tsikane. Co-Hosted by Nyiko Shikwambane and Basil Sherinda; and technical production by Kutlwano “Gwinch” Serame.
