We are looking to recruit a PRO for our Meadowdale branch. To be involved with organising and facilitating all requirements for the store with regards to managing in store promotions & events that require necessary coverage from an advertising perspective with local press, media and radio campaigns. Along with general in store PR duties as set out by yourself and the branch manager.

Relevant Tertiary Qualification
Related Experience
Drivers licence and own vehicle
Vibrant
Excellent Communication skills
Experience with the media
Experience in organising events and functions
Able to work within a team
Able to generate sales for the branch
Must be able to promote Hirsch’s and do sales
Must be prepared to work a minimum of two Saturday’s a month until 1 pm
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Build and develop the business database for the business
Maintain and co-ordinate all communicative measures on behalf of the business
Direct and organise sales staff on their promotional activities and in store specials Set up agenda’s for them and guide them with literature to assist their promotion- such as hourly programs for them to work from on promo days.
Liaise with media companies (print and radio and television broadcasting) after consultation and approval by the Public Relations & Communications Consultant on any publications, national and local.
To find ways of making the Branch more visible to the public in any way possible
Assist and work closely with the advertising department ensuring the right company profile and promotion is advertised in line with the company of brand identity
Assist with the procurement/buying process for any promotional activity or event.
Attend all future business development functions of interest in the area, such as new malls, new residential estates etc.
Manage monthly reports effectively
To attend press and media functions as and when required
