MAIN PURPOSE
To manage and facilitate all aspects of communication related to the Customer Operations units (mainly C-level communication) and COPS inter alia projects namely: Transformation,, COPS People First and COPS People Journey.
JOB OBJECTIVES
- Conceptualise, own and deliver Communication Strategy for Chief
- Proactively manage input of communications by building a content library for COPS
- Provide the necessary support services to enable effective project management
- Improve the culture of the COPS environment, internal and outsourced partners
- Manage the COPS engagement initiatives to ensure improvement of engagement scores both internally and working with Outsourced Partners
- Support and protect brand by ensuring positive messaging is maintained and establish consistency of communication throughout COPS
- Streamline all COPS communications, including developing and implementing a communication platform for COPS and library of relevant communications
- Integrate project work through, but not limited to, interfacing and liaising with all relevant groups/divisions/stakeholders
- Ensure transparency to the rest of the business regarding all projects and project status
- Compile feedback and recommendations to COPS management team
REQUIREMENTS
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
- Good knowledge of the cellular and/or telecoms industry

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Matric is essential
- A relevant degree/diploma in Communications/Journalism/Media/PR or Project Management
- 5 years relevant work experience of which at least 2 years in a Communication/PR role is essential
- Experience in Telecommunications or related environment is desirable
