documents filed in the controversial legal battle between former spy
boss Billy Masetlha and President Thabo Mbeki, writes Karyn Maughan in The Star.

And these include the infamous "hoax email report" which, up until now, has been classified as "top secret".

The Constitutional Court said these documents would be made available from noon on Monday – unless any party could justify why they should remain classified.

This occurred after journalists from The Star tried and failed to access the documents from the Constitutional Court registrar on Thursday.

The Star was informed that the documents could not be released as they "contain matters relevant to national security".
